To apply, this is what you need to do.

We follow a structured recruitment process to ensure you are treated fairly and assessed equally when applying. There is a dedicated recruitment consultant who will manage your application from receipt to interview stage.  This person will communicate with you throughout the process, updating you on your application and requesting any further documentation or information required.

Step 1. Review the opportunity on offer by clicking on the 'Apply here' page

We are seeking expressions of interest in all geographical locations. Search for your preferred geographical location, then click on the search result to view the full advertisement.  To submit an application, click on the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of the page.

Step 2. Complete the application and upload your resume

To ensure that your application is processed quickly, you will be required to complete a questionnaire as part of your application. This will provide us with key information that will enable us to finalise your application, please ensure you answer all questions. At the bottom of the questionnaire you will be asked to upload your resume (CV) and a covering letter.  We accept PDF files, .doc and .docx files that are under 2MB. You can also upload additional documents to support your application.

Once your application has been lodged, you will receive a confirmation email.  Please do not respond to this email, it is simply to confirm you have successfully lodged your application.

Step 3. Shortlisting, phone interview and background check

We will commence the shortlisting process once the application closing date has passed. If you have been shortlisted, we will contact you for a phone interview. We will notify you via email of our intention to call so you can prepare.  This will be an informal discussion, designed to find out a little more about you and discuss your interest in becoming a Mobil Retail Business Agent. A background check will also be completed at this stage.

Step 4. Psychometric testing

If your application progresses past the phone interview, you may receive an email from us requesting you complete a psychometric test. Contained within this email will be a link which will direct you to an online platform to complete the test. 

Step 5. Face-to-face interviews

Following your psychometric test and background checks, we will prepare a final shortlist for face-to-face interviews.  Face to face interviews will only be conducted when sites become available in your selected region.  Applicants will meet a panel of interviewers, and will be expected to present a business plan outlining how you intend to manage a service station successfully.  You will then be required to complete a numeracy and literacy assessment directly following your   interview.  All relevant files will be sent to you in advance, along with an explanation of the process so you are fully prepared.

You will be notified at the end of this process if your application is successful.
